The objective of the course is to train prospective students in the field of build environment to appreciate the value of aesthetics through design. It introduces students to the basic understanding of elements and principles of design. The content of the course encompasses studio works requiring students to design objects, spaces, small-scale structures and environment. Students will be trained in all the basic aspects of design, graphic principles, media of presentation, type of drawing, lettering, entourage, sketching, 2D and 3D drawing techniques and model making. The course will train student to develop their creativity and perception through a design process, a process of developing concepts, application of design principles and approach for solving problem and to successfully communicate their design ideas.
